Q: How many camping tickets do I need to buy for my group?
A: Camping tickets & campervan tickets are per person. You need to purchase a weekend camping pass for every adult in your group, and for children aged 6 and over in advance. Camping tickets cannot be bought on the gate at Goatfest. All adults and children aged six and over, regardless of the duration of their stay, will need to purchase a weekend camping ticket. No one will be allowed in to the campsite without a ticket. Camping tickets do not entitle you to festival entry - these must be bought separately.
Q: Can children camp at Goatfest?
A: Children under 16 are welcome to camp, providing they have the appropriate ticket and they are staying with a responsible adult.
There will be a family camping area - space in this area will be first come first serve for families and cannot be reserved in advance. We cannot guarantee everyone camping as a family will find space in this area - so we would recommend arriving early (from 3pm on Friday). If the family section is full, there will be space in the general camping area.
Please note - campervan spaces will be mixed, there will not be a family section for these pitches. Family camping will share toilet and shower facilities with the general camping area.
Q: What time can I arrive onsite - and if I have a tent will I be able to drive on to the campsite?
A: The campsite will open at 3pm on Friday 23 August. Campers will need to park their car in the allocated carpark and do the short walk with their tents and equipment on to the site. This is for safety reasons.
Campervans will of course be permitted to drive to their pitch - but this will be via a different gate. You will be directed to the relevant area once you arrive on site.
Q: Can I camp in my car, bring a caravan or towed vehicle?
A: Unfortunately not. No towed vehicles, cars, or caravans are allowed on site. If you have a special requirement please contact us at
Q: Will camping and campervan pitches be pre-allocated?
A: No. We will have separate sections cordoned off for general camping, family camping and campervans. There will be enough space for everyone who has prebooked camping or a campervan pitch. But pitches will all be allocated on a first come first serve basis so we recommend arriving between 3pm and 5pm on Friday to secure your perfect spot!
Q: What size of tent can I bring?
A: We would ask you to only bring a tent to fit your needs. Ideally a maximum of a four man tent, and we ask that no tents larger than a six man are pitched on site. If you have a larger tent and would like to camp, please contact us to discuss at
Q: What facilities will be available for campers?
A: There will a caterer in the camping area selling breakfast, teas and coffees from 7am until 11am. Drinking water, showers and toilets will also be available. There will also be a toilet allocated for waste disposal for campervans too.
There will be no electricityavailable for camping pitches or electricity hook-ups for campervans, so things like torches and night lights will be worth bringing.
The camping area is strictly a no smoking area. BBQs and campfires are also forbidden.
The camping area will also be marshalled by security guards 24 hours a day for your safety and security.
