General FAQs

HAVE A STRESS-FREE GOATFEST WHEN YOU KNOW THE INS & OUTS...

Q: I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY TICKETS OVER EMAIL, OR I HAVE A QUERY RELATING TO MY TICKET - WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please contact us at hello@goatfestuk.com

Q: HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

on our website via our ticketing partner, Skiddle. You can buy tickets by clicking "tickets" in the menu above. Do not buy tickets from anywhere other than our website.

Q: CAN I BUY DAY TICKETS FOR GOATFEST?

Yes absolutely! Day tickets will go on sale when we release our lineup.

Q: WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR?

The festival will likely sell out in advance so we'd recommend booking your tickets in advance.

Q: I WOULD LIKE TO GLAMP - HOW DO I BOOK THIS?

Glamping for Goatfest 2026 will go on sale later in the year.

Q: WHO IS PLAYING AND ON WHAT DAY?

The Goatfest 2026 lineup will be announced in the coming months.

Q: WILL CHILDREN BE ABLE TO ENTER FOR FREE?

Children aged 3 and under don't need to pay for an entry ticket but must be with a responsible adult at all times who has a ticket. Children aged 4-12 will need a Child Entry Ticket and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Q: CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Unfortunately the whole festival site is a dog-free zone, apart from registered service dogs, sorry pooches! This also applies to the campsite.

Q: WHAT IS THE AGE POLICY AT GOATFEST?

Challenge 25 operates on all bars. If you have purchased an adult ticket and are fortunate enough to look under the age of 25, you will be required to provide ID that proves your age. If you cannot provide ID that is valid and in date, you will be refused service.

We’re very proud to be a family-friendly festival. However, there are a few things to note before your family arrives:

  • We don’t allow anyone under 18 to be at the festival over the weekend without an adult of 25 or over. This applies to the campsite too.

  • Children under 13 years old must be accompanied on site by an adult aged 25 or over at all times.

  • Any guests ages 13-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult over the age of 25 through the entry and exit gates to the festival site.

  • ID checks will be carried out at the entry gates for anyone who looks under 21 years old.

Q: HOW DO I GET TO GOATFEST LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL?

The approximate postcode for the event is SG4 8XY but the exact location of the Goatfest entrance is here: https://w3w.co/palace.ally.cowboy

The google map link is: https://goo.gl/maps/bokra779zhht9vq29

Festival access can be made on foot via an entrance in the Codicote sports field driveway or by car via an entrance on Bury Lane, Codicote, Herts, SG4 8XY

COMING BY TRAIN?

The best mainline station near Goatfest is Stevenage - with regular fast trains to London, Peterborough, and Cambridge, and a taxi rank outside, we'd suggest travelling here instead of Welwyn or Knebworth. Stevenage is about five miles away from the festival site. There is a taxi rank outside Stevenage Station on Lytton Way and Uber is also readily available in the area.

ARRIVING BY CAR?

Limited paid parking will be available onsite. This cannot be pre-booked.

Car parking is £5 for Friday and £8 per day for Saturday or Sunday. A weekend parking pass is £12 (for campers it's £10). This charge applies to everyone parking onsite at Goatfest (campers and and glampers included).

If you choose to leave your vehicle onsite overnight, you do so at your own risk, the Goatfest team are not liable for the security of your belongings or your vehicle.

Gates to the car park and camping areas will be open at from 3pm on Friday and 11.30am on both Saturday and Sunday. Entry to the car park closes at 9pm each day (this does not include cars collecting) and your car must be removed from site by 11.30am the day after the festival.

Q: IS GOATFEST ACCESSIBLE TO ALL?

There is accessible parking available at Goatfest (this cannot be booked in advance) and a dedicated accessible toilet on the festival site, next to the first-aid tent.

If you are a carer, you will be given access to the festival for free provided you are accompanying a paying guest who has a pre-booked ticket. You do not need to book your carer's ticket in advance or notify our team in advance of the event - but the person you are accompanying must have a pre-booked ticket. Please see our box office team at the front gate on arrival at Goatfest and we will arrange access to the festival for you.

If you have any questions relating to accessibility in advance, please email our team at hello@goatfestuk.com

Q: CAN I BRING SOMETHING TO SIT ON?

Yes, camping chairs and picnic blankets are absolutely fine, but please do not bring anything that could obscure other festival goers' view - ie. A gazebo or windbreak. Anything left unattended is done so at your own risk. We reserve the right to ask you to remove chairs and other items if they are proving a safety risk or if we need to clear floor space at the event.

Q: CAN I LEAVE THE FESTIVAL AND GET BACK IN?

You can come and go throughout the weekend, but the last re-entry to the festival is 9pm each day. This applies to existing wristband holders, campers, glampers, and also new ticket buyers. If you leave the festival and try to re-enter after 9pm (including from the campsite) you could be refused entry. This is for the safety of you and our other festival goers.

Q: IS GOATFEST A CASHLESS EVENT?

We are in a rural area and the signal isn't always the best. So we would advise you to bring some cash with you as a back-up. All bars accept cash and card. And most food and craft vendors accept both cash and cards.

The nearest cashpoint is in Codicote village shop, Mace stores. This is on Codicote high street - about a 10-15 minute walk from the festival. Security will allow you re-entry to the festival if you need to withdraw cash.

Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

No outside alcohol can be brought into the festival arena. if you have a camping pass then you can bring a small amount of alcohol for personal consumption only.

We have a fully licensed bar available throughout the event. Our security team may confiscate any outside alcohol found in the arena or entering the arena during the festival weekend.
